Schedule

  • Vendors are invited to participate in the Children’s Festival hosted by The Friends of Chippewa Park. Each vendor space provides an opportunity to sell and display products while interacting with families and attendees throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business in a fun, family-friendly environment.

  • Event Team Setup: Begins at 8:30 AM
    The organizing team will begin preparing the event layout, signage, and designated areas.

    • Vendor and Community Partner Arrival: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
      All vendors and partners are required to arrive within this window to complete setup.

    • Setup Completion Deadline: 10:30 AM
      All booths, tables, and activity stations must be fully set up and ready prior to the event opening.

    Late arrivals may not be accommodated once final event preparations are underway.

    All vendors and community partners are expected to:

    • Remain present and operational for the full duration of the event

    • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space

    • Ensure their booth or activity is actively staffed at all times

    • In the event that products sell out or materials are fully distributed:

      • Participants are asked to display a clearly visible “Sold Out” sign

      • Remain on site until the conclusion of the event

    Teardown Begins: After 4:00 PM only

    • Early dismantling of booths or activity stations is not permitted, as it impacts attendee experience and overall event flow.

    • All participants are responsible for:

    • Removing their materials and equipment

    • Leaving their assigned space clean and free of waste

    • Vendor tables or chairs are available on request

    • Vendors should bring any additional display materials, coverings, or signage needed.

    • Electrical access is available upon request.

    • Vendors are expected to maintain a tidy and welcoming display while on site.

    • Table rental fee: $175 per table

    • Please complete the payment to secure your spot.

    • Once payment is completed, a confirmation email will be sent with final instructions and event guidelines.

Where to Find Us

The Children’s Festival will take place at the Chippewa Park Pavilion, located within Chippewa Park in Thunder Bay.

Visitors can follow City Road and look for signage directing them into the park, where additional event signs will guide you to the Pavilion.

On-site parking is available within the park, with additional parking nearby depending on attendance.
