Over its history the park has shifted from one with a large forested area to today’’s wide open fields. In addition, the adjoining mobile home village, presents a visual image that is inconsistent with that of a park. The park has also gotten away from the use of signage, both internal and external, to guide visitors to places of interest.
Preliminary sodding, tree and shrub planting has been completed.
Sufficient sign frames and sign boards have been constructed for all of the internal signs. Highway and road signage are installed as well.
The original budget for the signage and landscaping was $300,000. The final cost is in the range of $500,000.
